'Kontakt' Culture Festival

There was a three-days-festival in an old indoor swimming pool. Amazing location for a cultural event like this.

Mainly organized by students, it was a festival of music, art, dance and poetry.
We did a salsa workshop as well as joined the Bamberger Filmfest Tage "Film Festival Days".

Once in our life we have been in an indoor pool with shooooes - without getting in trouble. Great stuff...

Open Day - Market Gardens

Wurst with liquorice - you may doubt it but *yum yum*

Recently we have been to the reopening of the Bamberg Gardener Museum aka "Bamberger Gärtner Mueseum".

My company made some of the videos shown in the museum. At the ame time it was open day of the market gardens.

Bamberg has a few of them which offer a great opportunity to buy fresh, Franconien (even "Bamberger"), organic veggies, eggs, milk and other good stuff.
We bought a kohlrabie which was soooo luscious you can't even imagine.

Organ Concert - Bamberg Imperial Cathedral

Last weekend we visited the Bamberg Imperial Cathedral. From May till October there will be a organ concert every Saturday at noon for free. Different organists (even from Canada) are going to play the instrument for half an hour. This weekend it was Markus Willinger from Bamberg.

Its called Bamberger Dom Musik and is under the programm of the 1000 year exictence of the cathedral (1012-2012). We say: It's worth it!

Even though it was really shitty weather and a rainy day, the city was crowded.

You may have to come a bit earlier than 12am as the cathedral doors will close for the concert and all the seats are already taken by then (even the stairs).

Today we have been in Schirradorf which is about 30min driving from Bamberg.
We have been there four days ago to check out whats there and what we can do there. As its April weather the weather forecast was forecasting a sunny morning, light rain for Midday and a rainy afternoon...which didn't really affected us as our boulder were in a cave - rain proof location. Lucky us...

After I managed to climb my boulder in two parts and Michel did his project *woop woop congrats*, we drove to Herzogenaurach to go Shopping with a VIP sale card in the 'one and only' adidas Outlet.

We scavenged sneakers, sweatshirts, Tshirts, flip-flops and a football of course....=)

When the shop closed we went across the street and had our dinner at Macdonalds drive in.

This Saturday couldn't be better!
